Elegant, thin design; large keyboard; multiple networking and connectivity options; high-resolution screen; less expensive than Sonys UMPC experiments.
Stuck with Windows Vista (for now); trackpoint navigation isnt ideal.
Sonys upscale Atom-powered Lifestyle PC has the components of a cheaper machine but the design of a more expensive one. The end result will be a useful travel PC for some and a conversation piece for others.

We tried an early sample, so will reserve judgement until we see a production version next month. Hopefully by then Sony will have found a way to quicken the P11’s tortoise performance....
Stunningly light and thin design, Relatively spacious, comfortable keyboard, Integrated mobile broadband, Instant-on mode

Sammanfattning: Sonys Vaio P is a stunning looking piece of kit. But we arent so sure about its capabilities or its value for money. Neither cheap enough to compete with netbooks nor efficient enough to compete with notebooks, it is difficult to see where it really...
Sammanfattning: Sony made big news at CES earlier this year with what it called the lightest netbook ever: the 618g (with standard battery), 8-inch VAIO P. Described as ‘the size of a business envelope and as thin as a mobile phone,’ the VAIO P (245×120×20mm) is als...
Size and weight; wide range of connectivity options; excellent keyboard; XMB
Price tag; performance; high resolution display strains the eyes
Sony wowed the crowds at CES this year when it unveiled the Vaio P-Series, a fully fledged netbook that could just about fit into your back pocket. As technically impressive as it is, the hefty price tag and several shortfalls means it struggles to li...
