The CM Storm Scout 2 follows the same tradition as previous CM Storm mid-tower cases: good look, sturdy construction, and excellent pricing. In order to keep its price down, the manufacturer added only one fan, even though the product supports a total ...
Great Versatility, Good air flow with the option of 9 x 120mm fans, Good Portability
Only one fan provided, might need an 8pin CPU extension cable, internal spacing might pose a few minor problems with some watercooling units
If you are looking for portability without having to sacrifice space, the Cooler Master CM Storm Scout II will fit the bill, as it includes the ability to fit a full size ATX motherboard and Full size graphics card without modifications. Discuss in t...
Sammanfattning: For gamers on the go, there are a whole separate set of wants and needs compared to gamers who setup their rig and leave it on the floor. When it comes to cases, they need to be lightweight, easy to transport and able to keep your bits and pieces safe, al...

Compact/portable design, Comfortable carry handle, Great compatibility, Outstanding build quality, "Double take" on the price tag
Limited cooling out of the box, More traditional drive support, Subdued styling
To test the fit and finish I used a Gigabyte G1.Sniper 3 motherboard. This is an E-ATX motherboard measuring in at 30.5cm x 26.4cm (12 x 10.3 inches). As you can see the installation will work but at the expense of covering a large portion of the Cable sl...
Sammanfattning: Video Review: The Cooler Master CM Scout II Case is affordable, lightweight, stylish and has great build quality. Many fans can be installed for unbelievable cooling, plenty of drive bays, tool-less design, cable management and so much more. It's har...
Very good construction, Extremely comfortable, sturdy, and steel-reinforced handle, Extruded sides for additional space, LED on/off switch, Space for up to seven other fans, Anti-Theft system for gaming peripherals, 3.5" to 2x2.5" HDD bay adapter included
Steep price for the feature set, Only one fan included, No dust filter on some intake fan locations, Compact dimensions do not allow for very large CPU coolers to be installed, No external 3.5" bay, ODD locking mechanism does not hold very well
The CM Storm Scout 2 doesn't really offer a lot of functional features for such a price tag. It is, interestingly enough, 10 Euros more expensive in Europe and 10 USD cheaper in the US than the original Scout 1, something that makes little sense to me....

Visually I had my doubts about the CM Storm Scout 2 when I saw images of it from some of the events from earlier this year. It looked as if it was having an identity crisis. That changed after getting the case in hand I was surprised by the not too subtle...
Based on the specifications and looking at the interior, this case has ample water cooling options available. There is space for a 240mm in the roof, a 240mm in the front (proviso on removing the HDD bays) and space for a 120mm radiator in the rear. Thi...

The CM Storm Scout II Advanced leaves us with mixed feelings. The original from 2009 was above-average at the time, and while Cooler Master implemented a number of improvements, the execution isn't flawless this time around. Had the Scout II come out in...
