Sammanfattning: I’m trying to look at the Archos TV+ through the eyes of its intended audience. If the target market for this unit consists of the same people who are likely to buy Apple TV (thought I’d get all the way through the review without comparing the...
Small, Good clear music streaming, Good range of features
Additional plug ins bring the price up, No HD recording, Complicated freeview connection
The Archos TV+ looks good on the box but opening it up brings a host of problems. Add to this additional charges and all you will get is disappointment
Works as a DVR, media extender; built-in Web browser; can copy television programming to portable USB devices; many connection options; good amount of storage for the price
Stale user interface; no HD support; cant record two programs simultaneously; plug-ins for additional file types, Flash support cost extra
A DVR and media extender in one, the Archos TV+ is chock full of features, but its not without its limitations. ...
Sammanfattning: There are plenty of solutions for getting downloaded video and music onto your TV, from Windows Media Center to digital media adapters-and of course, Apple TV. You can record TV on a Windows Media Center and transfer it to a portable media player, or ...
Built-in DVR, Good streaming ability, Can sync recordings to Archos media players
Low video resolution, Confusing remote, Web plug-in costs $30 extra

Sammanfattning: Out of the Box I was extremely excited to get my hands on the ARCHOS TV+ after getting the demo at CES. All of the promised features, gobs of storage, and low starting price had me really stoked to give it a go. I’ll note there that during the...
Built-in DVR. Streams video and audio from PCs. Copies files to and from other devices via USB. Remote has several options. HDMI-out, several connection choices. Internet browser.
Needs software plug-ins for decent file support. User interface is slow, ugly. Limited offerings, poor integration from Content Portal. Occasional aspect ratio issues. No HD support yet.
The TV+ highlights both the best Archos has to offer (an excellent DVR, quality wireless streaming) and the worst (an outdated user interface, so-so file support). Its certainly an innovative device, but its limitations are frustrating....
