Das Sony HT-AX7 ist ein kleines Heimkinosystem, das sich schnell in Position bringen lässt und sehr unkompliziert für dezenten Raumklang sorgt. Der zieht geradezu ins Filmgeschehen hinein, wirkt aber eher subtil als effektheischend. Die zugehörigen Surround-Lautsprecherchen sind schnell an passende Orte gelegt und dank Akku und Funkverbindung denkbar pflegeleicht. Warum auch die Zentraleinheit über einen Akku verfügt, erschließt sich nicht wirklich. Mit Netzbetrieb und HDMI-Anschluss für den Fernseher wäre das System keinen Deut komplizierter oder gar schlechter. Und es könnte dann günstiger sein, denn für die 500-Euro-Preisklasse ist der Klang etwas dünn - auch wenn das raumfüllende Klangfeld aus den Winzlingen fasziniert
