If there's any one category of app-enabled accessories that's seen the most widespread acceptance among iPhone users, it would be fitness tracking devices. Thanks at least in part to its placement in Apple Stores, Jawbone's UP was one of the first commerc...

Slim, nondescript, plays nice with wristwatches, Bluetooth syncing with iOS devices, Fun, easytodigest data graphics.
Android antagonistic, No display, no extended sensor set
But let’s face it: Step and sleep data are just table stakes in the activity-tracking wristband space, and when Jawbone added Bluetooth syncing to its menu, it was really just playing catch-up. The Fitbit Force already has Bluetooth syncing, and many folks...

The Jawbone Up24 is an incredibly easy-to-use and enjoyable fitness tracker that counts steps, sleep, and calories. The Up24 is water-resistant, light, and comfortable to wear. The device syncs with phones over Bluetooth.
The Jawbone Up24 lacks a screen to quickly check your progress on. The Up24 and Up 3.0 mobile app support iOS devices only.
If having a screen or Android support isn't a priority, the Jawbone Up24's superb app, clever advice, and comfy fit are hard to resist.

No ondevice display means you're going to have to phone it in to get your step count. Not waterproof. $150 is a bit steep — competing devices are $20 to $50 cheaper

Sammanfattning: I have only used one fitness band but I think that this is the only one I will ever need. It is a great little band with very few flaws. When I first opened the box, I initially thought it looked quite uncomfortable and for the first few hours with it on...

Lightweight, Comprehensive stat tracking, Bluetooth syncing
Some sizing issues, Lack of screen, Too many stats require manual input
Bluetooth connectivity certainly brings a big advance over the previous UP. It's incredibly handy have that tracking information in real-time time. Even with this and the additional software enhancements, however, the UP24 doesn't match up to the sort o...
Weeklong battery life Very simple to set up and use Sleep monitoring seems accurate Data displayed neatly
Not waterproof No display for time or percentage of goal step goal completed Sleep mode doesnt automatically turn on or off
The wearables market is still very young, with the biggest players - namely Apple and Google - yet to show their hands. But those who have are reaping the rewards - perhaps not in competition-crushing sales figures, but in invaluable, real-world feedback...
