One of the best-looking digital compacts ever; acceptable images
Annoying touch interface; screen almost useless in bright light; slow controls
It seems as though Kodak blew all its budget for the V1273 on designing the gorgeous steel case, with none left over for a decent touchscreen, speedy interface or smart processing. A great style icon, but frustrating to use for anything other occasion...
You cannot see the LCD in moderate lighting, noisy images at higher sensitivity, you cannot see the LCD in brighter lighting, poor AF in low light, you cannot see the darn LCD unless youre indoors or in near darkness!
The Kodak EasyShare V1273 looks nice and feels robust, it has a nice lens and good Face AF with a clever touchscreen interface; it even takes nice photos. But it also makes me very, very, angry indeed. Read on to find out why…
Sammanfattning: Kodaks EasyShare V1273 isnt short of impressive features, with a 12-megapixel sensor, 3in touch screen and high-definition video recording capability. The meagre 3x optical zoom is disappointing, though, as is the limited effectiveness of the opti...
Responsive touch screen, Very easy to use, Pleasing image quality for a camera of its class
Screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight, Zoom is incredibly slow
From the outside, the V1273 exudes sophistication from its metal and plastic construction and touchscreen. However, lacklustre performance lets this cheerful camera down. ...
Touch-screen interface is annoying and poorly implemented, shots not quite crisp enough for a 12-megapixel sensor, screen very poor in bright light
Kodak’s EasyShare V1273 is a decent compact camera that is hampered by its poorly implemented touch-screen interface. The shots are fairly good although a tad soft, but the controls will get the best of even the most tolerant user. ...
Looks, Build quality, Touchscreen interface, Smart Mode, HD movie capture, Good image saturation and skin tones, 32MB in-built memory.
No bundled A/V cable, Poor LCD performance in daylight, High noise levels in images shot at ISO 400 and above, Average video performance, Underpowered flash.
Compact and light, Good interface, Excellent scene modes, Smart Capture more functional than auto, HD video recording
Smart capture not ideal for low-light, Misses certain subtle details
While a lot of camera manufacturers are still trying to find their place in the digicam market, Kodak has been lucky (or smart) enough to get a good footing. They have stuck to the consumer camera category with models that are easy to use in every poss...
