APS-C-sized sensor. Good image quality if you're prepared to tweak the defaults. Compact and lightweight with pancake lens
No video record button. Proprietary lenses and accessories are thin on the ground. No in-body image stabilisation
Samsung has positioned the NX system as an alternative to SLR and Micro Four Thirds cameras, or an "SLR-lite" if you will. The NX10 mostly succeeds, with a few operational quirks here and there preventing it from being top of the class....

Like: The image quality is very good. The lenses are, subjectively, amongst the very best kit optics with outstanding sharpness and contrast. Focus speed is not bad for the contrast detection method, but not as quick as a true DSLR.
Dislike: The major difference between the NX10 and a mirror/prism DSLR is responsiveness. There is the smallest lag that keeps you half a beat behind the action. It is not a deal breaker, but it cannot be ignored

The NX10 is a nice camera that is hampered in way too many ways to make it stand out in a market that is quickly filling up. A well implemented auto focus system, good LCD/viewfinder combo and easy to hold DSLR styled body makes this camera quite lika...
